Bootmakers, hatmakers, designers... these are just some of the hands - and brains - behind the larger-than-life costumes we see on stage. At Paris's Moulin Rouge, everything from the shoes to the embroidery is done inhouse. But perhaps the most essential of the crafts is also the rarest - the feather work.
