LEELAH SKY, is a master in combining Soul, Pop, Blues and Rock leaving the question after one particular style to an obsolete one. The singer, pianist and songwriter relies on powerful and at the same time fragile vocal acrobatics, steaming beats, and all at once elegiac compositions and meaningful lyrics, which affect the audience there, where its at – in the middle of their hearts. Brought up with pop, gospel and soul and having studied classical music and jazz, the attractive artist of Ukrainian roots had already had the chance to collaborate with with musical luminaries like Bobby McFerrin, Christian Kolonovits, Richard Österreicher.
Now Leelah Sky unites her musical background to an unique sound containing all her spirit and sense for diverse musical styles and– together with a star-studded band – conjures up a fascinating musical fireworks on stage that is second to none. In 2016 LEELAH SKY came out with two singles (‚freedom’ and ‚no limit’) before her debutalbum ‚second life’ was released by homebase records in october 2016. Now, with her 3rd single ‚count me in’ she proves once again, that she can be counted on when it comes to musical diversity combined with authenticity and extraordinary tastefulness.
