Salma Hayek's 'Harvey Weinstein' Article is a Chilling Read
  • 6 years ago
Salma Hayek’s powerful essay in The New York Times revealed her own terrifying dealings with Harvey Weinstein.

In the article she detailed how she came to him to help make, Frida, her passion project from 2002 about the famed Mexican painter.

And she described Harvey as a monster during the process.

She constantly said no to his requests to take a shower with him, to letting him watch her take a shower, to massages, to oral sex, and with every refusal he would go in a rage.

She also wrote about how he bullied her to do a lesbian scene in the film, something that was purely for his pleasure. And it made her so sick, she had to take a tranquilizer to get through it.

Salma writes that Harvey hated nothing more than the word no… and he even threatened her life once.

All in all it is a chilling article but one that needs to be read.
