Michel Barnier says Brexit bargain is exact and point by point however there is still work to be done
MICHEL BARNIER has said England and the EU should go up against more obstacles in the following round of Brexit talks. The EU'S boss Brexit negotatior said Theresa May and Brussels had worked "hard" to accomplish an arrangement proceed onward to the following round of Brexit talks. He said the Brexit bargain was definite and exact however there was work still to be done, including that adequate advance had been made on the three primary issues including natives' rights, Ireland and the separation settlement. Speaking about the separation settlement, he said England would pay no more to the EU, and not pay sooner, than if it were an EU member. He stated: "No part state will pay progressively or get less in light of Brexit – as Theresa may said in her discourse in Florence we have affirmed that. "The UK will respect the majority of the responsibilities went into amid its enrollment. Theresa May said that too in her discourse in Florence and we make that clear."As respects its commitments, the UK will pay no more, nor prior, than if it was a part state." On the Northern Ireland issue, he stated: "The UK's dedication today gives us a powerful assurance to maintain a strategic distance from such a hard outskirt", including that the UK was resolved to "full arrangement with EU inside market and traditions rules".
