Daya's US$180 mil vessel deal to go into arbitration

Daya Materials has been slapped with a notice of arbitration by the counter party to a 180 million US dollars vessel deal that the company said was signed without its knowledge.

Daya said its 67 percent owned subsidiary, Daya Vessels (DVL) had received a letter dated Aug 6th from the vendor, SBM Installer SARL, giving DVL notice that SBM had appointed an arbitrator to adjudicate in the case.
