In Person -- Meet this year's prestigious Merdeka Award Grant recipients - Dr Abhimanyu Veerakumarasivam, an infectiously vivacious, intelligent young Oncologist, and PhD Holder, who studied in Cambridge and has a collaboration with the world renowned John Hopkins University. He is researching the under- reported area of bladder cancer. Petite but bright Dr Natrah Fatin Mohd Ikhsan says bacteria talk to each other and she has been in awe with microbes from a young age. This fascination lead this PhD holder to become the author of various research articles published in international peer-reviewed journals.
