Celibacy best defined in hinduism is trying to attain absolute purity of thought while dwelling in the domain of the spirituality, all the while keeping sexual urges under absolute wraps. Being celibate is always voluntary. Those who advocate becoming involuntary celibate have not clearly understood the meaning!
