Helicopters rescue Chinese motorists stranded by snow

Footage has emerged from China of motorists being rescued by helicopter after getting stuck in snowy conditions in western China.
The video, shot in Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in western China's Qinghai Province on October 29, shows vehicles stuck in huge queues as roads are covered in snow and ice and motorists walking towards rescue helicopters dispatched by local government.
Soldiers also hand out emergency relief supplies.
More than 2,000 vehicles were forced to go back and 4,700 travellers were affected.
