RAWALPINDI: Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa here at General Headquarters on Tuesday.
Gen Bajwa and the Iranian diplomat discussed regional security, Pak-Iran border management, and enhancing interaction between the two countries in defence realm, according to a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing.
Mr Honardoost acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army’s contributions towards peace and stability in the region and pledged to keep working for better relations between the two brotherly countries.
