McKayla Maroney Reveals She Was Molested at 13-Years-Old

McKayla Maroney has revealed she was sexually abused.
The 21-year-old was inspired by the ‘Me Too’ movement, which encouraged women to identify themselves as victims of sexual harassment following the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
The gold medalist said that convicted sex offender Dr. Larry Nassar molested her from the age of 13 until she left gymnastics last year.
Nassar is currently in prison in Michigan after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography in July… and he’s currently awaiting trial on separate charges in addition to being sued by over 125 women in civil court.
McKayla claims that Nassar first molested her at the National Team training camp in Texas when she was 13… and it seemed whenever and wherever this man could find the chance, she was ‘treated’… and the worst abuse happened during the 2011 world gymnastics championships.
Back then the doc gave her a sleeping pill during a flight to Tokyo and she didn’t wake up until she was in his hotel room, alone, and he was performing a ‘treatment’.
She wants to remind others that it’s never too late to speak up.
