Phulkari Embroidery Stitch mainly originated from the Punjab region (divided between India and Pakistan). Phulkari means Flower or Floral work , Phul means Flower and Kari means Craft. This embroidery mostly used for embroidered shawls, dupattas, head scarfs, suits etc. This is very colorful and beautiful embroidery. \r
