Dramatic CCTV from China has emerged of a motorcyclist sent double somersaulting into the air when he was hit by a car after running a red light.

The footage, captured in Wuhu city in eastern Anhui Province on September 29, shows the car knocking into the motorcyclist, who is sent spinning through the air before landing feet first.

The motorcyclist, despite not wearing a helmet, was not seriously injured, according to local media.
