About this video:

Day 51 is our second day with our WWOOF hosts and today we are going to be working on a dairy farm in New Zealand. Join us to see what it’s like to WWOOF in New Zealand!

This morning, Laura is babysitting our WWOOF hosts’ kids while Robin is turning the ground of cow sheds. We then head off to a nearby farm that is currently in its milking season to help out with milking the cows.

We learn how the cows are milked at a dairy farm in New Zealand as part of our WWOOF experience, getting some new insights while on a working holiday in New Zealand. If you want to learn more about dairy farm work in New Zealand for backpackers and working holidaymakers, check out https://www.backpackerguide.nz/seasonal-work-new-zealands-dairy-industry/ on the BackpackerGuide.NZ website.
