The Talk 'n Text Tropang Texters get a golden 3-2 advantage in their best-of-7 finals series against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters by virtue of their game 5 win via 103-94 on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The Elasto Painters had a 29-27 lead after the opening quarter, but that was the last of its kind as the Tropang Texters zoomed to a big run in the succeeding quarters highlighted by their full throttle attack anchored on Jayson Castro's nice assists. He involved his teammates really well to confuse the defense of Rain or Shine all the way to victory. As a result, they are now one win away from winning the championship.
