Kulfi can be made in many flavours, Today Im\r
going to make the most popular Kesar Pista Kulfi\r
\r
Lets see the ingredients\r
required for making this\r
\r
For this well need\r
\r
1. Full cream milk - 1 litre\r
\r
2. Milk Powder - 1/2 cup\r
\r
3. Sugar - 2 tbsp\r
\r
4. Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp\r
\r
5. Almonds - 10, soaked in water for overnight, \r
then peeled and chopped\r
\r
6. Pistachio - 35 to 40, chopped\r
\r
7. Saffron - 30 threads, \r
soaked in 1 tbsp warm milk for 2 hours\r
\r
Lets start making kesar pista kulfi\r
\r
for making this well need a heavy\r
bottom, large kadhai or pan\r
\r
Add milk\r
\r
Turn on the gas and let it boil\r
\r
It has started to boil, turn\r
gas to medium-low and stir\r
\r
Dont turn heat to very high otherwise\r
it may burn in bottom of pan\r
\r
Keep the heat to medium and let it\r
evaporate water till it becomes half\r
\r
Keep stirring it occasionally\r
to prevent it from burning\r
\r
Kulfi made in this way has a very\r
nice texture as well as taste\r
\r
Milk is getting thicker\r
\r
It has become half in volume, now\r
add milk powder and mix well\r
\r
Cook it for another 15 minutes\r
\r
Since milk powder is already\r
sweet, well need less sugar.\r
\r
You can adjust amount of sugar according to your taste\r
\r
It is very thicker now, turn of the gas\r
\r
Add cardamom powder and saffron \r
Mix well\r
\r
Add sugar\r
\r
Add almonds\r
\r
Add pistachio, keep few\r
pistachios for adding in molds\r
\r
Let it cool now\r
\r
It hs cooled, now turn it into a\r
glass for pouring into the molds\r
\r
Its texture and color\r
is looking very nice\r
\r
Take a kulfi mold, add some\r
pistachio, pour milk and put stick\r
\r
You can also freeze it\r
without putting stick\r
\r
Similarly fill all the kulfi molds\r
\r
These molds are easily available in the market, you\r
can use any mold of your favorite shape and size\r
\r
Now well put this in a\r
freezer for about 4 to 6 hours\r
\r
Now put this in a freezer\r
\r
Its been 4 hours, lets check our kulfi\r
\r
Our kulfi is ready\r

Similarly take put all the\r
kulfi from the moulds\r
\r
Creamy Kesar Pista Kulfi is ready\r
