Kurdish activists occupied King's Cross St. Pancras railway station in Central London on Wednesday, to highlight the role of Kurdish people in the conflict against the self-declared Islamic State (formerly ISIS).

The protesters later moved to Angel tube station where brief skirmishes broke out with the police when they tried to prevent the protesters from entering the station.
