China's Dead Sea 'turns pink and green'
Bizarre footage has emerged from China's so-called Dead Sea of a salt lake appearing to have pink water on one side of a road and green on the other.

The aerial video was filmed in Yuncheng in northern Shanxi Province on September 15.

According to local reports, scientists say the rare phenomenon, which has been widely reported by Chinese media, was caused by an unusual species of algae.
