Apple’s New iPhone Release: What to Expect
A series of new iPhones that will include, for the first time, a premium model with a $999 starting price, which some are calling the iPhone X.
But there is also Apple’s tight ecosystem — the iPhone works well with other Apple products — and, over time, Apple has gained people’s trust.
Apple is holding an event on Tuesday, starting at 10 a.m. Pacific time, at the new Steve Jobs Theater
at its campus in Cupertino, Calif., to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the iPhone.
With the higher starting price, the new iPhone will join Samsung’s $950 Galaxy Note 8 to establish a luxury tier of smartphones
that caters to tech enthusiasts with high disposable income.
Since Apple introduced the iPhone in 2007, the company has sold more than 1.2 billion
of the devices, making it one of the best-selling gadgets of all time.
