Putin, Erdogan hail mended ties between Russia and Turkey

Russia's President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan announce the “normalization” of ties between their countries, which was damaged by the Turkish military’s shooting down one of Moscow's warplanes in 2015.
