Violence scares students away from journalism in Mexico

  • il y a 7 ans
Mexico is one of the most dangerous countries in the world for the press, with more than 100 journalists killed for reasons tied to their work since 2006, some 20 of them in lethal Veracruz state. The violence, combined with a limited job market and low salaries for endless workdays, is also having an effect on journalism schools, where few students dream of being reporters.
