As the title song, "Sixteen" was inspired by Samuel's actual age of sixteen and has a kind of innocent pureness.

11세에 세븐틴 연습생, 13세에 원펀치로 가요계에 데뷔했던 사무엘이 무서운 성장을 보이며 2017년 16세의 나이로 드디어 솔로 데뷔를 했다.

'식스틴'은 사무엘의 나이인 '열여섯'에서 힌트를 얻어 탄생한 곡으로 사무엘의 때 묻지 않으면서도 풋풋한 순수함을 노래한다.
