Karan Wahi had written a Facebook post where he had blasted the show Pehredaar Piya Ki for its outlandish premise. During the a media interaction, following a petition to ban the show, one of the show makers, Shashi Mittal criticized Karan Wahi for taking the case of the show without watching it.
