One of the funniest pranks ever done on Beadle's About. From 1990, a shipyard worker named Dave Hughes supposedly sees his white van with his business stock in it, pushed into the canal by a HGV, but it was a fake white van that replaced the real one. Jeremy Beadle revealed himself later on, while disguised as a scuba diver. The reaction of Dave when he sees the van fall into the water made this prank one of the most watched pranks the show has ever produced. There will never be a better prankster than Jeremy Beadle, as he died of pneumonia in January.
