00:00We are down to our last two entries in our countdown of some of the most artistic animals.

00:11Pasok! So number two, the honeybees.

00:20Honeybees are social insects and they live together in a hive.

00:24When the one assigned to forage for foods finds a great source,

00:28it performs a honeybee dance to communicate to the other bees the exact location.

00:34A round dance or a movement in a circle means the source is less than 50 meters from the hive.

00:41Now, a waggle dance or the bee doing a figure eight pattern with its abdomen means the distance is more than 150 meters.

00:49Now, they don't have Waze or Google Maps just yet.

00:53How do they work? That's what their masterpieces to create their beehive.

00:59And then, the honey is the store.

01:01They are more efficient, more ergonomic in terms of space.

01:34Yun yung gusto nila ma-achieve.

01:36Yung kasing plan na yun, yung parang master plan ng kanilang beehive is very important.

01:42Of course, for communication nila with other bees, storage of food, pre-production nila.

01:48I think the honeybees are one of the most artistic insects in the animal kingdom also, no?

01:55Yung kanilang ginagawang store ng honey nila ay hexagon.

02:00Halos parang yung laruan na kinakabit-kabit mo, parang ganun ang ginagawa nila.

02:05And tayo naman, kukolektahin lang natin, sisirain natin.

02:09Now, are the bees conscious that they are so meticulous and bordering on being OC?

02:14Yung honeybees kasi natin, ang gusto talaga nila, perfectionist sila in a sense.

02:19Masipag yung mga kasama nila, mga bubuyog, kasi kailangan matapos nila yun bago magkaroon ng harvesting of honey.

02:26Pag madili yun, wala silang storage for food because honey is actually their food and they're storing this for the rainy days.

02:33Pag mabagal, mahina, pwedeng i-attack sila ng mga ibang species na mga insects.

02:38Kailangan maging conscious sila na matibay itong honeycomb nila.

02:42Parang naka-mindset na ganun yung precision ng cell na gagawin nila.

02:48Kasi kapag kahindi, mabilis masira yung honeycomb.

02:52Parang naka-pre-program, ganun yung size, and then yung kaya siyang ipagpatong-patong na hindi nasisira.

02:58Yung precision niya is very artistic.

03:00Kasi compared sa iba, sila talaga yung architecturally and creatively or aesthetically speaking, sila talaga yung na-balance nila yung both aspects na hinahanap ko ng organism.
