The film stars Sridevi, Hansika Motwani, Shruti Haasan and Sudeep in lead roles. Produced by Vijay’s public relations officer Selvakumar, the film’s soundtrack was scored by Tollywood’s top music director Devi Sri Prasad. The movie released in 3 languages (Telugu, Tamil, Hindi) simultaneously. The film is said to be made with a budget of Rs 118 crore.
Puli is a fantasy adventure film set in two time periods. The film is about Puli (Iilayathalapathy Vijay), who travels back in time to a fantasy kingdom to save a queen from a tyrant. Why he traveled to past? What problems hero faced after entering the kingdom? forms the plot of the movie.
Actor Vijay’s ‘Puli’ is the fantasy adventure film written and directed by Chimbu Deven. The star will be seen in dual role. Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep plays the role of the antagonist in the flick and yesteryear sensational actress Sridevi Kapoor has returned to Tamil after decades. Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani are playing the female lead roles in the movie.All the songs in this movie are excellently composed by Devi Sri Prasad specially the song which starts with the lyrics “Yendi Yendi” was composed excellently and the main highlight of this Iilayathalapathy vijay and Shruthi hassan sang this song together for this film.
