Review---
Thanga Magan is latest Tamil romantic drama film written and directed by Velraj. This movie starring Tamil Super Star Dhanush in a lead role and Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Amy Jackson are in female roles. Thanga Magan is produced by Dhanush under his own banner in association with G.N. Anbu Chezhiyan. Music is composed by Tamil sensational director Anirudh.
Thanga Magan movie also features Radhika, Sharath Kumar seen as Dhanush parents in the movie and KS Ravi Kumar play an important role. This is his 29th movie in his career. After the block blaster hit of VIP movie the trio Dhanush, Velraj and Anirudh paried again paired up for this movie.
Dhanush, an average looking boy from a simple family background, falls head over heels in love with Amy Jackson. He manages to woo her and subsequently indulges in a thrilling love life. However, his happiness doesn't last long as Amy walks out of his life, leaving him dispirited. What follows is an attempt by the director to narrate the difference between love before and after marriage. While Dhanush, along with his family, leads a peaceful life, due to a certain turn of events Dhanush's father (played brilliantly by KS Ravikumar) faces a grave situation, which in turn disrupts Dhanush's daily life. How Dhanush's saves himself and his family, forms the crux of Thanga Magan.Thanga Magan, though not as impressive as Velaiyilla Pattathari, manages to make you laugh and weep. It also most definitely, entertains you.
