Congress party workers, specially female supporters of Ambarish took upto massive protests in Mandya and blamed Ramya as being the reason why Ambarish got dropped off the CM's cabinet. Ramya finally spoke to the supporters and requested them not to unnecessarily drag her name into the issue and that even Ambarish knew that she was in no way involved in his drop out of the CM's cabinet.
