Following the Police's deadly behavior incident in Yamanuru in which they had threatened commoners and arrested farmers and students who had committed no mistake, and the riots that occurred thereafter, residents of Yamanur requested the home minister to release the innocent and drop the charges against them made in the Mahadayi protest case.
