Russian President Vladimir Putin and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe are speaking at the second Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in the city of Vladivostok, in Russia’s Far East. Both leaders are due to discuss a wide range of issues regarding Japanese-Russian relations, including the possible visit to Japan by President Putin.

The two-day forum brings together business and government representatives from Russia and Asia-Pacific countries to discuss the economic potential of Russia's Far East and the Asia-Pacific region, as well as cooperation and investment opportunities.
