Sruti Hassan's Response Over Sangamitra Opt Out | Filmibeat Malayalam

The filmmakers had zeroed in on Shruti for the title role in Sangamithra after considering several other actors. She had also been undergoing training in weapon-based martial arts in London as she was preparing to play what could have been the most important role in her career. Reacting to the development, Shruti’s spokesperson issued a statement saying it was her decision to walk out of the project.
ശ്രുതിയായിരുന്നു നായികയായി എത്തേണ്ടിയിരുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍ പിന്നീട് വേണ്ടെന്ന് വയ്ക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. രണ്ട് വര്‍ഷമാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി മാറ്റിവയ്‌ക്കേണ്ടത്. അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ഏപ്രില്‍ മുതല്‍ ശ്രുതി സിനിമയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള തയ്യാറെടുപ്പിലായിരുന്നു. മികച്ച പരിശീലകര്‍ക്ക് കീഴില്‍ സ്വന്തം ഉത്തരവാദിത്വത്തിലായിരുന്നു ശ്രുതിയുടെ പരിശീലനം. ശ്രുതി ഇത്രമാത്രം ആത്മാര്‍ഥത പുലര്‍ത്തിയിട്ടും ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ അണിയറ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ ഇതുവരെ തിരക്കഥ നല്‍കുകയോ, ഷെഡ്യൂള്‍ തീരുമാനിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.
