The wide sandy beach of Es Niu Blau is situated in an area scattered with apartment buildings between the holiday resorts of Santa Eulària and S'Argamassa in the north-east of Ibiza. It is always breezy at this beach and large trees provide plenty of shade in places.
From Santa Eulària it only takes five minutes by car to Es Niu Blau. As there are several beaches in the surrounding holiday resorts, for many people the car journey to here is not worth the effort. However, if you walk here instead, you will find that Es Niu Blau is not very busy and great for a relaxed day at the beach. It is rather classy here and you will see mainly.
The sand at Es Niu Blau is somewhat grainy and mixed with stones in the water. There are plenty of sun-loungers and parasols for hire, as well as jet-skis and pedal boats. Food and drink are served in three restaurants here. There is occasionally entertainment in one of them, which is rather more stylishly furnished. The little café has a small book corner and there is also a wooden hut where you can buy snacks and drinks.
