Starting at a young age Travis Barker knew all he wanted to do was play the drums, who knew that dream would land him at the helm of one of the greatest bands of the ’90’s. Today Travis Barker does much more than play the drums, he produces, designs clothes and brings together some of the best musicians alive.

From Run The Jewels to YG to The Game, Barker is currently cooking up another album with some of raps biggest names to follow up his 2011 project “Give The Drummer Some.”

Joining Sway in the Morning from LA, Barker speaks on defying the lines of genre’s and simply creating music he loves. He tells a story of first falling in love with production after Bun B reached out to him to help with a project. We also hear Barker speak on his relationship with Tyga and the possibility of Blink-182 getting back together and the current relationship with the band members.

The interview ends with Barker speaking on his come up and going from working as a trash man to buying cars and cribs for his father. He also outlines his role as a parent and reminisces on time spent with DJ AM.
