Unfortunately I hardly found any information about this altsax player and bandleader, who recorded 3 sides in the late 20s as a leader, as well as - in 1931 - several dozens of sides as a sideman in bands featuring Bunny Berigan. That is about all I could retrieve about this musician. Anyhow, this lovely tune was recorded in 1928. Vocal by Frank Bessinger.
