Of course Simon Cowell was asked to come back to American Idol.
And he gave them the Heisman.
The famous judge revealed the news during an interview with Extra, saying he was asked, and the answer was no… adding he has no interest, that his memories are when they first started, and it would be impossible to recreate that.
In case you forgot, Cowell was a mainstay on the show from 2002 to 2010 – which is a pretty good run – and since ABC is rebooting the series, it makes sense they went after one of the OG’s.
But they’re learning the hard way that the man is just too busy.
He’s currently a judge on Britian’s Got Talent AND America’s Got Talent, and he’s even named as one of the producers of the upcoming Betty Boop movie.
Plus, we might have to consider that he’s worth over 100 million dollars, and he just doesn’t need the work.
