New Dinosaur Named After "Ghostbusters" Beast

3 years ago|43 views
Scientists in Toronto have named a newly identified dinosaur after a monster from the original "Ghostbusters" film. The Royal Ontario Museum says it acquired the skeleton of the armored dinosaur Zuul crurivastator last year. The species name crurivastator means "destroyer of shins," a reference to the dinosaur's sledgehammer-like tail, the museum said. The fearsome creature measured about 20 feet long and would have weighed about 2.5 tons.
