Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has said that the government is planning to connect the four holy towns of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath with highways at a cost of Rs 11,000 crore under 'Chaar Dhaam Yatra'. Gadkari has future said that the Centre is planning to sanction Rs. three lakh crores to speed up road construction projects and give impetus to infrastructure development.
