Sister Nirmala, head of Mother Teresa's charity, dies

Sister Nirmala Joshi, who headed the Missionaries of Charity after Mother Teresa, died today at the age of 81. She was not keeping well for the past few days and her health was gradually deteriorating. Sister Nirmala had succeeded Mother Teresa as the superior general of Missionaries of Charity in 1997. Her body would be brought to Mother House on Wednesday morning and the funeral will be held at 4 PM.
