A woman journalist journalist VP Rajeena in Kerala is facing online threat and abuse after she shared her memories of classmates being abused at a Madrasa when she was a child. On 21 November, a senior journalist working with a prominent Malayalam newspaper wrote a post on her Facebook account about sexual abuses her classmates had to face in a Madrasa years ago. Afterwards her Facebook account has been blocked, and she is receiving threats.
