Guingamp climbed up to eighth position in Ligue 1 after their 2-1 win against Toulouse on Saturday. Jimmy Briand opened the scoring for Guingamp with a 53rd minute penalty before Alexandre Mendy found the net in style nine minutes later to double the home side's lead. Andy Delort gave Toulouse hope with a second half penalty, but it was not enough for Pascal Dupraz men. The win means Guingamp are currently five points of fifth place and a potential Europa League spot.
