2018 Peugeot Onyx -Concept,Specs,Release Design-wise, Onyx is very similar to some of the other supercars out there on the market. One of the first things that you notice when you spot the Onyx concept is the aerodynamic shape of the vehicle, and a very low ground clearance that reduces the drag. The design is very sharp and edgy, with plenty of sporty details. The weight of the vehicle is mere 2.400 lbs, which is achieved through the use of lightweight materials. Most of the body parts are made out of carbon fiber, and we suspect there is also a lot of aluminum involved.
On the front, you will find the vertical grille surrounded by plain, yet elegant headlights. Massive air intakes in the front bumper ensure the proper cooling of a powerful engine inside. In the back, there are six openings that are probably connected to the exhaust system. Another interesting addition are the three-claw taillights. They are also going to use 20-inch alloy wheels. The winged doors are made out of unprotected copper, which creates the tarnishing effect over time. The plexiglass roof also looks quite futuristic. The new model is going to be 183.1-inches long.
