Female teacher facing heavy jail time for lesbian romp with student

AUSTIN — A Texas high school teacher and sports coach is facing 20 years in jail after rumors surfacing about her hookups with a female student turned into legitimate suspicions.
Their dalliance began in March of 2016, when 25-year-old Kendall Lucas was coaching the 17-year-old student on the girls softball team. The two got it on repeatedly over the next couple months, the student admitting to investigators they shared a bed about ten times.
The student was called in for questioning after reportedly blabbing to two other students about her femme-erotic series of trysts. Coach Lucas was taken to task by school administrators, who’ve since put her on administrative leave as authorities investigate the allegations.
Cases of teacher-student romances have been on the rise in Texas for the past six years, and experts say the access between both parties created by social media is largely responsible.
