'Spectators are murderers': Protesters clash with Colombian police over bullfighting return

Hundreds of protesters clashed with police forces in Bogota as bullfighting returned to the Colombian capital for the first time in four years. The activists stormed an event marking the beginning of the bullfighting season, chanting “murderers” and “torturers” towards the spectators. Police deployed tear gas in an attempt to disperse the crowd and detained several protesters.
