Angelina Jolie Randomly Drug Tested While Filming 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider'

Angelina Jolie went through way more than we previously thought to become a star!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new biography on the star claims Angelina was subjected to random drug tests and blood tests during filming Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001. She was also assigned two teams of crew members to make sure she was on task both on and off set.
At the time there were some questions about her reputation for being dark and doing drugs. She was also dating Billy Bob Thornton and carrying around a vial of his blood around her neck. Needless to say, they wanted to keep an eye on her.
According to the book, it was this reputation that won her the starring role, as long as she underwent random drug tests. The tests were so strict they even took blood samples to make sure she was clean, and she passed all of them.
But it was all worth it. Lara Croft: Tomb Raider went on to become an enormous box office success and launched Jolie’s career to newfound heights!
