But one wild and windy night the Gruffalo’s child ignores her father’s warning and tiptoes out into the snow. After all, the Big Bad Mouse doesn’t really exist… does he?
The story is about the Gruffalo's daughter who sets off into the woods in order to find the 'big bad mouse' which is the only thing her dad is afraid of. On the way she encounters other beasts of the forest including a snake, an owl, and a fox. After her unsuccessful search, she sits down and says she doesn't believe in the 'big bad mouse', when it finally appears, and realized it isn't big and bad as her dad described.
However, the mouse, as smart as it is, tricks the gruffalo by standing on a tree branch which enlarges the mouse's shadow and scaring the gruffalo back to its cave. Then the mouse approaches...
