PhenQ has the same ingredients as many other dietary weight loss supplements found online, so it would be more or less difficult to distinguish it from other supplements if all you had was its label or its formula/proprietary blend of ingredients. How many other supplements come to mind, that have caffeine?

How about l-carnitine? There is also capsicum and pipeline. Most people, of those that have looked online for weight loss supplements and have used some of them, can think of at least one or two maybe more, with these ingredients. Why is this a problem, you may ask. Well, it's not necessarily a problem but we've seen other supplements with these same ingredients and they didn't work very well.

However, the problem is not the ingredients, not really. Caffeine does help fat loss, because it helps the metabolism work better and because it improves physical performance and thus it would help the individual's performance in exercising which helps burn fat. L-carnitine also helps because it is actually an important part of energy metabolism and also an antioxidant which helps protect the mitochondria and cells.

However, l-carnitine supplementation does not offer any significant benefit for someone that does not have an l-carnitine deficiency, in someone that has enough l-carnitine in his/her body. Caffeine's benefit for weight loss also varies depending on factors like the individual's tolerance to caffeine. For instance take me as an example, I drink coffee each day.

I have a caffeine tolerance, meaning caffeine does not have the same effect on me as it would have in a caffeine naive individual, one that rarely if ever consumes caffeine or coffee. It is the same with alcohol, the more frequently you consume it, the more tolerant you are to it.

Both caffeine, as well as alcohol, can be detrimental to health if abused, obviously. However we can talk all we want about the evidence that these ingredients have, how they work, it's futile since the supplement in question does not have clinical proof that it works and the doses that it contains are not the same as those used in clinical trials, for its specific ingredients. These ingredients will not have the same potency or effect here, in PhenQ, as they do in various trials.
