The band Klezmer Kaos was formed by the clarinetist Heiða Björg Jóhannsdóttir in 2006. She discovered the klezmer music in Iceland, her natal country. When she moved to France she decided to form a band, so she got in touch with Klezzics which is an association who helps young klezmer bands to start up. This association invited her to play at the "Café des trois arts" in Mai 2006. She managed to find the musicians for that concert in only two weeks - Klezmer Kaos was borned.

They welcome you in a whirl of emotions. The Klezmer Kaos, five talented musicians with specific universes, propels us in far away destinations with their strong and powerful music. Their repertory is like a tale book and each music piece tells a story in a rhythmic and melodious flow. Sometimes, to the sound of violin, clarinet and accordion, it tells the story of a wonderful trip in a sweet and languorous country. Some other time it's a wild jewish dance that ignite the room and gives wings to the most pitiful dancers.
