Sonakshi Sinha said that she is very happy at the positive response that the trailer and songs of the film has got from the audience and the actress also praised director Prabhu Deva for being the kind of a director who knows exactly what he wants from his actors. On his part, Akshay Kumar also praised Prabhu Deva and said that this movie has all the ingredients of an entertainer like action, comedy and good songs. Kumar also said that he does 'rowdy' things like playing pranks on others on a daily basis. Prabhu Deva said that the movie was tailor-made for an action star like Akshay Kumar.
