For the first time in two years, shale drillers in the U.S. are set to increase spending on exploration and production in 2017 as recovering oil prices are prompting banks to extend credit lines by a small margin. According to analysts at Raymond James, U.S.-focused oil and gas producers are expected to increase capital investments by 30 percent in 2017.
