Karan Johar: 'I stand up when Shah Rukh Khan enters a room'

Much has been written about the friendship between filmmaker Karan Johar and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who have worked together for many projects. However, Johar claims that Khan is not a friend, but more like an elder brother. At a recent event, Johar said, "I would not call SRK my buddy because he is more like an elder brother to me. When he enters a room, I stand up in respect and that is the relationship between us. Calling Khan a 'buddy' would dilute the relationship between us." Johar's next directorial project is 'Student Of The Year' starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra and the movie is co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan.
