ISLAMABAD: The efforts for cooperation between two key opposition parties, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has lost the momentum after return of Asif Ali Zardari from self-exile, sources said.

The PTI has adopted a more cautious approach of ‘wait and see’ for cooperation with the fellow opposition party PPP after return of former president and the party’s co-chairman Zardari. The contacts between the Leader of Opposition Syed Khursheed Shah and PTI’s central leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi failed to have tangible impact on the relations between the two parties for building political cooperation against the PML-N government.
